Kyle wanted to create an event to encourage people to register to vote before the May 18th Primary deadline. However, the pandemic put the cabash on in-person events that would typically be a quick way to get people excited about politics.
So, being the creative tech scientist he is, Kyle decided to do an experiment. A few days prior to the voter registration deadline, he invited local musicians and speakers to participate in a virtual “Rock the Vote” concert. Rock the Vote is a nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to building the political power of young people.
This show originally aired at 7pm on May 17th, 2020 as rolling live performances on Facebook. After the show ended, he put them all together into a full concert video! In case you missed the live show, here’s the whole thing without interruption. Local musicians and speakers united for a night of music and Democracy!
